Now that’s pretty old! Or is it? Here is living proof that you can not only look this good at 60 but also model! Now that’s interesting news. Aint it?
Here are excerpts from her interview in various magazines. Thinking where I found all this. Well, I stalked her like crazy. I mean, cmon, looking like that at 60? Hell yeah! Now I know many of my readers may not be 60 but one day we will be so let’s be better armed to face it with pride. Are you ready?
YAZEMEENAH ROSSI’S BODY CARE TIP
Below are the excerpts from Vice magazine (vice.com):
Do you feel younger than your real age? Is youth a state of mind?
Yes, it definitely is a state of mind. If you are connected with your inner child, you can recharge your batteries and keep that energy. You need to have a playful, adventurous, curious spirit. And you need to rid yourself of fear. It’s fear that makes you grow old.
How have you kept your body looking so amazing?
When I was 20, and after having two children, I weighed [154 lbs]. I have lost a lot of weight since then, but I haven’t starved myself to do it. It’s been a matter of a balanced diet, an active spirit, and yoga.
If you think she has done botox, plumpers or face-lifts. You are wrong. She hasn’t even dyed her silverfish grey mane. But life has not always been this good to her. She confesses that her hair started greying at the tender age of 12 and that she did not like her body image when she was younger. Life taught her the hard way to realise her worth and embrace herself for who she is.
My hair started turning gray when I was 12 and was salt-and-pepper by the time I hit 20. I never colored it, because I knew it was my best asset.
Have you had any plastic surgery?
I won’t say this idea hasn’t crossed my mind, but I haven’t had any cosmetic surgery so far. I only had surgery once, when I was 30, because I had some excess fat under my eyes provoked by the terrible allergies I suffered since I was a kid. So, the idea of going under the knife when I am perfectly healthy, doesn’t make much sense to me. But I think it can make certain people feel better about themselves so if the operation is done well, I have nothing against it.
Now don’t you get this wrong she is not one of those lucky stars to have been appreciated and liked while she was still blossoming in her tender youth and gathered enough fans since then. She started at an age when most today would think of subsiding or would think of going to the next phase in their life.
The hot model didn’t start her fashion career until the age of 28 – when most would be hanging up their high heels.
Even at 50 something she worked her way through big brands like Marks & Spencer and JD Williams. She has worked with big name designers including Yves Saint Laurent and Eileen Fisher and done major ad campaigns for Macy’s and AT&T to name a few. She’s been featured in a campaign for a collaboration with The Dreslyn, in Los Angeles, and New York-based lingerie brand Land of Women.
YAZEMEENAH ROSSI’S DIET/ FITNESS ROUTINE
That leaves us thinking about her lifestyle and what she does to flaunt those looks. She doesn’t keep it a secret. So that means you have no excuses too. Her diet plan is simple and healthy. Lets hear it directly from her.
From an excerpt in Daily Star:
What is your diet routine?
I don’t practice frustrating diets. Balance and discipline are the keys. I never eat processed, frozen, microwaved or low-fat foods. Most of the time I eat organic food and I cook it fresh everyday. I eat mostly vegetables, fruits, nuts and some good-quality fish and meats. I always lived a more or less healthy lifestyle.
She tells Sunday Magazine,
All I have ever done is eat organic food – long before it became trendy. I eat an avocado a day and organic meat and fish.
About her fitness routine she tells NextShark,
I do a little bit of exercise everyday. I’ve practiced yoga for more than 30 years and I’ll spend between 30 minutes and an hour doing it each day. I also walk for 15 to 45 minutes. In the summer I like to walk in the water on the beach, and I hike in nature all year round.
YAZEMEENAH ROSSI’S SKIN CARE ROUTINE
About her skin routine she says she goes organic again(that’s why I always say in all my posts that going organic is, was and will always be the way to go as far as beauty in the long run is concerned).
As in Sunday Times,
I put grapeseed oil on my hair. I scrub my skin once a week with olive oil and fine sugar.
